2.9 полная связь по принадлежности элементов класса (is-a relationship): Связь по принадлежности элементов класса, ассоциированная с принципом наследования (преемственности).

Примечание 1 - Если класс А1 принадлежит надклассу А, то каждая продукция, принадлежащая классу А1, будет принадлежать и надклассу А, и все описания элементов надкласса А автоматически будут относиться и к описаниям элементов класса А1.

Примечание 2 - Данный механизм взаимосвязи, как правило, называют «наследованием или преемственностью характеристик» (inheritance).

Примечание 3 - Согласно общепринятой модели ИСО 13584 /МЭК 61360 этот вид связи может быть установлен только между характеристическими классами, должен быть определен единственной иерархической структурой и обеспечивать наследование действующих и применимых характеристик.
